Well, i am a bit of a funk fanatic. I'll assume a comfortable position and have a listen.
Nice strings, kind of majestic, a little bit melancholy, interesting choice for a funk track. Cool rhythm, and the bass and filtered synth are definitely getting their funk on.
I love that organ part, especially those little 32nd note articulations, I doubt thats the right word for it, but ya know what I mean!
Man, I wanted more, it ended a bit sharply.

Nice upbeat flavour. I like the different kinds of percussion and beats you've got in here.
The bassline is playing a pretty sweet chord progression, definitely on the happy side of dance.

Yep I see your point about being too high pitch...but it makes you happy right? That was my intention. Cool piano riff, reminds me of Italian house. Nice, simple melodies to drift away to. Nice harmonizations on the strings throughout.
Nice tone on the new bassline. Ahh, nice sound effect to break into the new section. I like the human style vowel synth sound! Nice dreamy melody again.
Something thats bugging me a little bit is the track feels a bit overcompressed. Perhaps some of the lead sounds a little loud?
Overall, really nice track, you've got a good ear for harmony and melody, no doubt about it dude.
Well your bang on the overcompressed part but maybe for the wrong reason. I compressed this 30mb song down to 3.5 mb so sometimes you hear some distortion. Making music with a $20 program also doesn't help my quality. I'm not rich :( I need to buy logic express but costs 400 dollars. Thanks for the review.

Hey there Blacknoise, whats up. Lets see what you've been cooking.
Quality production on this one. You've really got a feel for the evolution of a trance track.. Great bubbly 16th note bassline, the rhythm is driving and good, everything balanced nicely. The little hat rolls are the icing on the cake. The acoustic snare at first listen seems a little bit of a strange choice for psy-trance but it grows on me. For all I know thats how its done in psy-trance.
Cool leads, I love the distorted, rough synth set against the duller, cleaner one.
Nice orchestral switch. Quite haunting and powerful. The former melodies brought back to good effect. Nice production at the finale.

Ok, nice sweep in the intro and a little taste of vocoder.
Into the trancy section. Hmm..when you do the filter sweep there's some digital clipping, watch those levels in the mixer!
You've got some nice melodies and sounds happening. Unfortunately the beat is a little bit weak in comparison. A really powerful kick drum is essential for this kind of thing, and yours doesnt seem quite there.
You've got the basics under control, just add a bit more control over your mix and you'll be right.

Interesting intro, nice spacious feel that makes me want to listen on.
Catchy little organ sounding riff. Nice fx and the pulse feels right.
Intense beats man, those hihats really create an energetic mood. I'm digging that sweepy pad at the start of every 4 bars.
Powerful build-up. Cool high energy flavour with your driving melodies.
I'm all for diversity, but after the climax it sounds like you have a lot of cool ideas, but they are clashing sometimes, and that may not be a good thing in this case. Gets a little jumbled, but it holds together ok, I would just like to focus a bit more on some key instruments.
In conclusion, awesome track and well thought out, except for the ending which was probably a bit too complex for its own good although the individual parts were great. The first chorus part was my favourite.
If you have the time, I wouldnt mind you checking out my latest trance effort. You seem to have a pretty hot track there at the moment ;)
Hey - the truth is, actually, that I've put a week's effort into this one... waaay more than usual for me. =P And the quality/mixing definitely was a bit of a problem for me with this song, but I think I did ok. Glad you like it. =)
Yeah, Phantom Zero's another pretty good song of mine... I'm pretty proud of the high score it has compared to my other songs. =) But sure, I'll check your songs out. =)

A catchy little drum and bass probably suitable for a fast paced action game.
The beats are solid but I think wanted to be a little bit harder.
My favourite part of the track would have to be the bass. Cool, crunchy tone and the riff is catchy. I dont quite know what happens at the end, it gets a bit random!
The lead is what gives it that cool video game touch.
Anyway, keep it up man!
Well, the drums haven't been finished yet, as this is only a demo. They'll be really pounding when I get done with them.
The end is how it'll end in the final version. It only seems random here because I crushed what I plan on having as the end and the middle together.
And if you liked this bass, you'll love the one I plan on putting in a future song of mine. It's a really gritty bass that also works as a lead. :D

Sounding pretty cool and industrial with those rough metallic beats. The switch to the light, dreamy synth was cool. Excellent drum work in the background. Interesting bringing back the rougher beats, but the energy level seems to be a bit low. It feels like its building up to something.
Anyway, an enjoyable listen, just felt like it needed a massive ending. But I guess you said that in the description.
