    great

Tasty man, digging it...the production is top notch. The intro is mighty fine, but dont forget that this NG bunch like immediate satisfaction, so be careful!

    cool

You've got some cool 303 like bass sounds like that, and they sound nice and lively. So congratz on the effort to automate and filter etc..
Some cool swirling synths in there.
The only complaint would be the percussion is a little bit 'cheap', especially that snare sample...its been heard too many times! Update the kit a bit, and you'll be happier too ;)
    Nice one!

    broadside responds:

thanks for the review and the listen.
ill work on making my drum samples sound a little more interesting

    nicely done

Sounds really good. You have a really nice variety of sounds in there and they work together really well. I was loving that big kick drop kind of sound that plays at the start of every 4 bars or so, but it gets a little bit much by the end!
The bass down low is really cool, I think a big regular kick drum would really suit the cool synths you have going on in the track. Some of them give the track a kind of mysterious, middle eastern flavour. Awesome!

    KittenLoveX responds:

Thxs for the review dj-padman1! I luv synths ^_^

    keep practising

Its cool that you're trying to make techno. This is has a few problems though. I like some of your melodic ideas but they're kind of jumbled together. The handclap is WAY too loud. You want your kick to be bigger and I cant hear any hihats.
    Keep working at it.
Simplify it...all you need is a steady beat and a simple bassline, and then introduce some of those melodies one by one. Then everything will have space and everyone will love you.!

    adaissexy responds:

right i had realeased the out of timeness and all, but that was only because the arranging was done in acid. now i know how to do the arranging in fruity loops.

    I will try harder :)

    great!

You guys are real maestro's! This was one epic electronic track. Really great co-ordination of the leads and that big semi detuned bass/lead provides a very solid underpinning to the other elements. Hey, you've given us an upbeat bassline as well to get the track really humming along.
There's some nice fills..I worry that the extra melody that comes in after the snare roll might be a little too detuned, to the point of being out of tune. It was a little bit unsettling I have to say.
When the track goes to the half time feel everything feels like its locked in correctly in terms of pitch. Very nice development there, adding the strings.
I like the pingy kind of drum. The pattern is kind of reminiscent of a d'n'b snare pattern which might explain a couple of previous reviewers remarks. I would consider it techno/faux classical looking at the track in its entirety.
    Cool ending!

    Critical-Collision responds:

    cool track

Nice build up, everything sounds 'right'. Good classic snare roll, I like how the main synth begins a little bit before. It sounded a little bit sparse, but I see you've delayed adding the clap and the open hihat. Nice!
It's cool, would have loved a bit more of a climax though...Maybe taking the energy down a bit and then building it up again to a new high. Hey, I'm no trance whiz so take my words with a grain of salt.
    Keep rocking.

    k-m-g responds:

Thanks man! Yeah, what you suggested (breaking it down and bringing it back) most likely would have complemented the song alot but I was running out of available space...damn 4000kb limit.

    well

Its quite cool man, and I can imagine it in a flash.
However, the lead sound sounds a bit static and plain. If its a battle scene I think you want something a bit more hectic! The bass too...I'm not exactly feeling like destroying stuff!
Still, I hope it gets used!

    Jiao-Zhang responds:

    yep. me too man. thanks!

    cool

Its cool. Its got a nice video gamey/epic feel to it with that chord progression and the multi layered bubbly synths.
So, who are you guys? anyone famous? :)

look forward to hearing more complete tracks from you guys.

    Critical-Collision responds:

    Thanks you for reviewing dj-padman
