Awesome tuneage
Rockin track man, I love the high energy in this one. The bass is really thick and driving and the leads work perfectly. I'm impressed!

Glad the bass helps it out, the original intention of the thick bass was to hide the terrible percussion lol. I made the song without the bass and people kept saying the percussion was bad, so I put it in and it worked like magic.
Enough ranting from me. Thanks for the review!
excellent!
Really powerful well balanced piece here. Your chord progressions are really really good and the transitions all hit the spot. I love the long pads holding down the chords, that phased sounding one is very nice on the ears. Nice driving bass, this is a very well put together trance track that might suit a game as well as the dancefloor!
Sounding good
Pretty unique track you have here. The transition with the birds and water fx is unusual but interesting going into the cool acid techno sequence. The strings sound good throughout, and the drums although a bit common fit well.
Nice one, maybe your sequencing skills would help you make more of a club oriented techno track someday?
Thanks for dropping me my first review.
I'm finishing up my second one today so maybe if you have time you could review that one too.
A good start
Well, its a lot better than most peoples first tracks, and definitely better than my first track. I mean, your progressions and riffs are fine. Maybe the track is a bit robotic though, kind of like 'this plays for 4 bars, then put across another loop for 4 bars, and so on'. Perhaps work on making some snappier riffs instead of the very dense, continuous ones. The plucked kind of bass that comes in after the beat is introduced is one example. It's not really giving any life to the track. Just continuous eighth notes. Its hard to do, but its worth the trouble to try and make memorable riffs. Just mess around in the piano roll, it doesn't come by magic!
Also, the beats. You'll thank me when you start running your kick and snare through some effects, maybe some light distortion or waveshaper. That will instantly make your groove tighter and punchier. Don't be afraid to chuck some factory drumloops over your tracks, even the pros do it, and its a real time saver!
Keep going, you're doing well so far.
Thanks man... yes, the track is very organized... perhaps too organized, in the air you're running this review at. It was pretty much all layer composition, if you know what I mean.
I'm not sure how to do those effects... I've purchased a book, and I'll be running through it this year. I'll definitely give it a try in the future.
Thanks for the review!
Amazing work.
Dude seriously awesome and seriously hardcore! LOVE those massive distorted kicks, they sound damn classic. The track's melody is just phenomenal, its rare to hear such a powerful melody like that. I'm really, really impressed!
Great buildup, is that vocals beneath the surface? Oh, well, we get a cool arp instead. Very chunky beats and bass, I like..I like! More vocals up high, sounds wonderful!
Real club material here!
Awesome conclusion, I'm amazed at this one. Seriously.
Keep it up man, there's no telling how good you're going to get!
thanx man lol sry for late respond XD yea the disorted kick sounds good
the vocals? xd yea could be club song meh but its rmx so dosent really count XD well im plaining on making music for 4 years at leest see how good i get then thanx for reveiw man keep it up also
Another outstanding piece!
XI, you never fail to wow me.
The call and response between the high and low 'hollow but energy filled' lead was exceptional. Instant club material.
The piano gives it particular commercial appeal.
Great build, very nice resonant sweep at the end of the build and carries on faintly in what follows, extremely nice touch!
The bass-line is not as savage as I like to hear from you, but I appreciate the angle you were going for, and for a more melodic piece like this with your very fine strings and piano, you wouldn't want anything to detract from that.
Well placed string breakdown. During the next section I would have loved some lush strings filling out the mix. Doubtless a 5 from me Mr XI.
The title is how I feel what I'm in when I listen to your tracks.
Good
This is a good effort, you've got the drums and the synths in all the right places, the mix is good and the chord progressions work.
The only thing we're missing is a big bad bass to bind the whole thing together.
Can't have drum and bass without the bass my friend :) Cool sounds though.
P.S To answer your question, I use Ableton Live, but believe me, it really doesn't matter what you use, you can do good stuff with just about any program (as long as its not ejay or magix) I'm guessing you're using FL Studio..Thats a quality program!
thanx for da tip...its what i really kneed thats what i kinda figured, like oh yeah bass...>.> heh well thax and i have tried Ableton and it was a little confusing but its a worthy program and just FL is the the program i am using and its gonna be the one im gonna keep using
cool
Tasty track, I love the slide-down bass and assorted acid synths. Cool transitions and high energy, what more can we can ask for? Nice strings too, filled out the mixed nicely.
Minor grumble : Kick seems a bit clicky, I would make it down and dirtayy...to each their own though! ;P
Nice one!
Hey, thats really inventive! Nice idea and sounding great. The melancholy part is fades out on is my favourite I think. It would have been awesome if you introduced some glitchy beats at the end, but the concept you introduce here sounds very pleasant.
Thanks a ton man!
