nice melodies

Some really nice harmonies and synth co-ordination here. The chords are really pleasant and the track glides along nicely. Very nice selection of synth sounds that go together nicely. The main problem I see is that the percussion seems a little bit common. Especially that kick and the snare, they sound a little bit weak. Hey, nice bassline down low, adds good support to the track.
Hmm..yeah, really nice track but the drums let it down a little bit.
Keep going, you're doing really well!!

ooh

Lets have a listen...
I'm loving the breakbeats, and the pulse is damn cool with those microfills at the end.
Nice chopped up vocals, hey, Beastie boys..respect!
Very good build with the cymbals coming in, they do seem a touch loud though, cool fx...
mellows out a bit here, nice mix with the cruisey guitar part, which I suspect might be synthesized?
Never stop glitching!

cool

cool catchy loop, the filtered rhythmic parts keep things motoring on nicely. Could imagine it in a fun game of some kind, I'm not getting that much of a space impression though, if that was your intention.

caffeinerush responds:

Agree with that, the name doesn't really fit. Cheers for reviewing.

c'est bon

Nice chord progression, the arrangement sounds nice and full. I like the interlude with the pad sound playing in isolation, nice chords! One complaint, the hi-hat sounded a little bit distorted in the first section, other than that it seemed really tight. Really nice solid kick, good roll back into the main sequence. Hey, you a Darude fan perhaps ? :) Sounds a bit like their style!
Keep up the nice work!

nicely put together track

True, this type of track has been done quite a few times before, but it is put together very skilfully and you have a very good idea of progression and how a track should advance. The synths sound excellent, the midrangy arp is probably the best part of the track to my ears. The percussion is good, the hats especially, I wouldn't mind hearing the kick cranked up a bit harder to give the track a bit more adrenaline.
Keep up the fine work :)

thanks alot~!~ Glad you like it.

nice job!

Really good energetic pace and thumping kick. The bass rumbling down there is damn menacing and the pad adds a lot of tension. Its damn cool, the lead synth, I'm not too sure about. It's got a lot of variety and interest, it just seems a little bit clean and unprocessed compared to your dirty bass and eerie pads. Other than that, this is a fairly rocking track.
The tracks broken up enough to be interesting throughout, and there are some cool snare rolls, but a little more variation in the percussion would help 'seal the deal' I reckon.
Keep it up!

good one

Cool, phat Dr Who kind of bass throughout. The track sounds pretty funky, you may have just invented a new genre, tech-funk. You've got a good variety of percussion sounds throughout, I was just missing something to hook onto during the song, some of the synth parts seemed a little bit random. The bass kept everything together though, keep going.
Putting the drumloop through the phaser may have caused the clarity to suffer a bit, nice idea though!

DJMiddleMan responds:

thanks, i'll keep all those things in mind.

dreamy

Cool man, you've got some really rich, lush sounds in here. They don't exactly glue together as much I'd like though. Some more percussion perhaps would give a bit more of a solid feel to the groove? I was thinking it would sound quite a bit like some of Moby's tracks with a cool lounge drumloop over it.
Anyway, its got some cool sounds and is relaxing. Keep going! I wasn't 100% sure about the first instruments harmonization with the other instrument, it seemed a little bit 'jagged' sometimes. The strings that follow were were probably the best part of the track in my opinion, and the percussive plinks with the pitch slide down were very cool.
Keep going!

classic

Nice progressive feel, the track evolves very nicely. Quite 90's with the chord progression and everything, brings to mind some of ATB's work, especially with the bassline.
Nice one!

DJDeZ responds:

Cheers mate, glad you like.

unique

Cool inventive track. It evolves nicely, on the one hand, the reversed claps sound a little bit cheap, but they grow on you. Towards the end, with the rhythm in full swing I get a very Daft Punk flavour from the track. The slow attack bass is a great element at the start. The organ gave the song a twist of a more ambient trippy nature. The strings give the song a lot of depth in combination with the piano. It's sounding cool, but the snare seems a little bit common for something a bit off the wall like this. But it works well enough, and here's the Daft Punk section :)
Nice one!

Stealth-Emergence responds:
