Cool trance man, you've captured the rave flavour just right with your build-ups and progression.
Very nice choice of sounds and all the percussion was arranged really well.
Would like to hear some more aggressive sounds at the peak of the buildup though.

Some nice beats and rhythms. Gave a very tribally, islandy kind of flavour. The kick seemed a little bit distant and weak, the same with the snare and the kick. I guess you wanted the marimba or whatever it is to take the lead.
It's cool, but you may want to think more about track development and more parts. bass for example?:)

To answer your question I use Ableton Live 6.0.
The kicks were more just to back up the lead. They weren't meant to be loud. For the basses, there were two of them actually. As for the lead, call it whatever you want. I have no name for it.

You've got some nice melodic elements in there. I liked the groove of your beat from the introduction. Nice little pitch bend on the trance blippy sequence. The piano is a little bit random!

Good energy and pace. I like the trance parts the best I reckon. When you add the arps on top of the metal it really is a bit too much for the track to handle. The parts with the metal riff playing by themselves were cool, just with everything else it gets a bit hectic!
Nice one, the beat is rocking, but I wasn't feeling too much of an offbeat pulse, so maybe a louder clap or snare?
good progression with the gradual rise in energy level, but remember not to overload!

Really nice interleaving of parts. The percussion adds a lot in the introduction I think, with the ebb and the flow of the piano, and then the running piano higher up. Very tense and thought provoking. Easily of pro standard, keep up the very good work!
Forgive me, but I cant hold my tongue, do you have any experience with Miroslav Philharmonik VST. I have the demo but it doesn't want to locate any of the sounds, the instruments folder is acutally empty. Any ideas? I figured if anyone knows it's going to be you! ;) and sorry to latch it onto a review!
Hey no problem man, i'll try to answer it to the best of my ability, if what I suggest here does not work, feel free to send me a pm and we'll try to work it out.
Now I assume you use Fruity Studio's? I installed the demo of Real Guitar2 and for some reason it gave me the same error, the library files were in my vst folder, the instrument .dll file was there and everything. Why it would fail on me was and still is a huge question mark. I sent both the creators of Real Guitar as well as the creators of Fruity Studio's and though i'm still waiting for a response from Real Guitar, the folks over at Fruity Studio's simply said that the file was probably not compatible. This is a case with some obsecure or specifically designed VST's. Miroslav Philharmonik is a very high end VST and so chances are it does not communicate with Fruity Studio's properly.
Try these, just in case.
Completely uninstall the demo, redownload Miroslav's demo, and try re-installing into the VST folder.
If it doesn't work again.
Try re-routing the VST folder of Fruity Studio's to somewhere else and install in that. I doubt it would have anything to do with the fact that other VST's.
If it still doesn't work, we'll have to send an email to the good people over at Miroslav and see what the big habub is.
Also i'm glad you enjoyed the piece, thank you for the review, I apologize if you are not using Fruity Studio's, and effectively didn't get much of what I said ;).

Really impressive work as usual. The harmonizations were beautiful and I especially love the cello. Great dynamics and expression, you really know how to get the most from your software!
I'm loving the reverb treatment, considering its coming from around a campfire :) I would have guessed the Vienna recital hall!

Speaking of Vienna, have you heard of the Vienna Orchestra VST? The sucker is 550 gigs large X_x. When you order it, you get sent a harddrive. I found this most amusing. I"m sure you'll need at least 50 pc's to operate the damn thing...
I love the reverb, it emphasises the feeling of being alone, kind of abandoned so well, and of course with an appropriate melody that feeling can be turned into a sad kind of hope, which was the core of the image here :D.

cool catchy loop, the filtered rhythmic parts keep things motoring on nicely. Could imagine it in a fun game of some kind, I'm not getting that much of a space impression though, if that was your intention.

Nice chord progression, the arrangement sounds nice and full. I like the interlude with the pad sound playing in isolation, nice chords! One complaint, the hi-hat sounded a little bit distorted in the first section, other than that it seemed really tight. Really nice solid kick, good roll back into the main sequence. Hey, you a Darude fan perhaps ? :) Sounds a bit like their style!

True, this type of track has been done quite a few times before, but it is put together very skilfully and you have a very good idea of progression and how a track should advance. The synths sound excellent, the midrangy arp is probably the best part of the track to my ears. The percussion is good, the hats especially, I wouldn't mind hearing the kick cranked up a bit harder to give the track a bit more adrenaline.

Cool, phat Dr Who kind of bass throughout. The track sounds pretty funky, you may have just invented a new genre, tech-funk. You've got a good variety of percussion sounds throughout, I was just missing something to hook onto during the song, some of the synth parts seemed a little bit random. The bass kept everything together though, keep going.
Putting the drumloop through the phaser may have caused the clarity to suffer a bit, nice idea though!
