tasty

Nothing to not like heaps here. Very nice progressive feel to this one. The mix is spot on, and each riff easy lasts the distance. This is sure to go down well in Europe!

Rave4Yourself responds:

Thanks man, :D

Check out some of my other stuff too. Btw, this track isn't really my best, lol. I just uploaded it so people could check out my tF remix, :P

jungle flavour

Really nice classic rave feel to this one. You sure have a talent for those fx and transitions. Cool lead sound, blipping and flipping around nicely. I wouldn't have minded a big thick bass down there somewhere as well though.
Excellent percussion as with all your tracks though I think the kick might be a bit more effective if you cranked it up a bit more.
You've made a really cool groove here, the lead melody changes so often, like a big solo. I think a bass playing a wicked 1 or 2 bar riff would give the track a lot more stability though.
Enjoyable all the same!
It deserves a lot higher than the score suggests.

cool

Very cinematic and atmospheric track. I have to hand it to you for the excellent development in this track, and its never boring because you whip out so many cool well placed fx. One of them in the middle was a little bit rough on the ears though! Ow! The one before the little vocal fragment. Definite potential in a game or something. For the club, if you dropped in a massive rolling bass halfway through i'm sure it would do the business.
Nice one mate!

sweet

Nice rock, electronic fusion. It rocks to a good extent, there seems to be some compression and bass issues. The trebly guitar seems to really dominate the mix. The bass guitar sounds bloody ace, I would love to hear it cranked up. I read your previous replies to reviews, and yes, mastering guitar is always a headache! Nothing major though, cool track.
I love that drum fill/sweep towards the end. Nice!

Anima-Theory responds:

I would love the bass to be deeper, but one note I played seemed to be to deep, therefore amplifying the bass only caused distortion.

Thanks for the review

greatness

Dude, this is just plain awesome. The jazz styling really floats my boat and everything is just mixing together perfectly. I mean, I dont like to throw comments like that forward usually, but I'll say it here. Especially the bass, sounds wonderful. Man, why'd you put that offbeat bass section in after the vocal section? Back to trippy grandeur again when the wicked guitar parts come in and the shaker starts talking! Oooh, sax..gotta love it, morphing in and out with the guitar. Yep, the offbeat bass works well I suppose.
Excellent track all around, I'd say your best (did i say that last time? ;) ) Highlight..probably the repetitive vox section in the middle, but there's nothing to not enjoy heaps throughout the whole track, and mega bonus style point for the miss-timing and lags. Respect.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

hehe, cheers pal.
the offbeat bass, yeh, is super cliche and summin i normally avoid but it worked here i thought.
go forward

cool

Man, you're a bit of a genius with the good ol' speech synth, great cymbals and hats in this one, the slide down acid sound worked wonderfully I thought. And very nice triplet pattern after the wicked acid techno kind of part. Great pads as well, really fill out the track well. Looks like your score has been hit by some jerk, damn this place!
Keep up the great work.

cornandbeans responds:

lol, yea. I've stopped caring about score for now, even though the publicity is great when you're up in the charts. I was trying to get a unique dnb sound there, I'm glad you liked the triplet pattern. :) I've been expirementing with distortion layered with a low pass... it works really well. That's what you heard on the last pad, it's a gritty/ambient kinda sound. Thanks for the review, man! Don't forget to check out Adrenaline Pumper, I bet you'll like it. :P

tasty

Nice man, I like this one. It's simple but its got what it takes to rock. Good sense of expectation with that long sustained note down low, kind of twinkly as well perhaps? Love that. Percussion really gets a good boost when you introduce the side-sticky thingamajig, reminds me of all kinds of classic trance tracks.
Well, nice, easy to remember melody, would have loved a higher pad to really fill out the mix.
Good job as always, man, nice piano in there too and very good cymbal crashes and low hits, really make it sound polished.
Keep it up man!

bjoaierjbioaerjgoerj responds:

thanx!

simple but effective

Nice loop. Not much happening, but it does the business of creating a catchy groove. I like the tone of the bass a lot, same for the snare. Maybe it'll get used in a flash!

Dog responds:

Yeah, it's a bit plain huh. I had a little synth number going aswell, but I thought I'd keep it simple. Thanks for the review.

good stuff

This track is pretty decent. I'm digging the industrial flavoured guitar and the beats are cool. Some of the transitions are a bit rough, I don't know, like its a bit out of time.
Anyway, nice job, hope to hear some more from you soon.

system-overload responds:

thank i kinda tried to use tha panning on the transition sound

nice!

Wow, man, this one has all the foundations of an awesome track. Fantastic melody and beat, I'm digging it..pro transitions and everything. It seems to be distorting a bit though, watch those levels!
Maybe you want to make it kind of hardcore or something? Cause that kick you bring in at the end sounds like its clipping.
Anyway, the first section makes up for it. You're on the right path!

P.S btw is 'by the way' :)

Prometheos-Dude responds:

Thanks man, I like your stuff... um I took along break and now I have gotten better. and I think it would be cool if you were to review my other stuff...
