Amazing work.

Dude seriously awesome and seriously hardcore! LOVE those massive distorted kicks, they sound damn classic. The track's melody is just phenomenal, its rare to hear such a powerful melody like that. I'm really, really impressed!
Great buildup, is that vocals beneath the surface? Oh, well, we get a cool arp instead. Very chunky beats and bass, I like..I like! More vocals up high, sounds wonderful!
Real club material here!
Awesome conclusion, I'm amazed at this one. Seriously.
Keep it up man, there's no telling how good you're going to get!

MuSic-Creater responds:

Good

This is a good effort, you've got the drums and the synths in all the right places, the mix is good and the chord progressions work.
The only thing we're missing is a big bad bass to bind the whole thing together.
Can't have drum and bass without the bass my friend :) Cool sounds though.

P.S To answer your question, I use Ableton Live, but believe me, it really doesn't matter what you use, you can do good stuff with just about any program (as long as its not ejay or magix) I'm guessing you're using FL Studio..Thats a quality program!

AphelionX responds:

thanx for da tip...its what i really kneed thats what i kinda figured, like oh yeah bass...>.> heh well thax and i have tried Ableton and it was a little confusing but its a worthy program and just FL is the the program i am using and its gonna be the one im gonna keep using

Nice one!

Hey, thats really inventive! Nice idea and sounding great. The melancholy part is fades out on is my favourite I think. It would have been awesome if you introduced some glitchy beats at the end, but the concept you introduce here sounds very pleasant.

SensoryDecay responds:

Thanks a ton man!

Yo dude

Sweet drumloop in this track! Loving the powerful kicks which you do so well. The arp is cool, but I'm just waiting for the bass! Is there a bassline in this one? The low arp doesn't really hit the spot in terms of bass in my opinion. To be honest, this isn't one of my favourites of yours, I know its nowhere near what you can do.
Maybe the game had some special requirements though, so I'm not sure.

TheComet responds:

I might go back and add in a sub bassline, I FINALLY made a good instrument to act as bass now.
I didn't put bass in this one though since the game I'm working on has alot of deep loud explosions, gunshots, and general mayhem *the game's going to be awesome when I finish it! :D* so I intentially stayed light on the bass to keep flash from peaking the sfx.

Got a song in the works that's going to be great, and PLENTY of bass in it, I'll post it up soon!

Beautiful tribute

Yes, rest in peace, Mr Moog. You rock foo'. You too Pedro.
The beat is 'hella tight', great organ and quasi vocals.
Love the swingy distortion later on in the track. Makes for an excellent close.

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

wicked, glad u liked it

great

Wow, sounds professional. I take it you do this for a living?
Sounds, structure, mix, all faultless.

Haiasi responds:

Thanks. I've made a lot of music before. I consider this piece as a turning point in my style.

Fantastic

Damn, awesome tune here! Really hardcore and rocks big time. The kick is chunky and exactly what you'd want to hear in a hard techno track. Awesome snare patterns throughout.
Great powerful synths and great riffs, there's a lot to like about this track!
The structure is really outstanding, you've got all the right buildups and fx and sudden impacts to keep everything flowing along nicely.
Massive respect man.

P.S I'll listen to your new trance track very soon. ;0

MuSic-Creater responds:

thanx man yea new song is gona be good =p XD

Sweet

Sweet jam here. Those slightly melancholy, mysterious chords remind me of the background music for Diablo 2 sometimes.
I love the bluesy influences, and its always interesting. Great slides and expression with the guitar!
Nothing to dislike here, its nicely relaxing.

MinistryofTunes responds:

thank you, I really like your stuff 2 man!!!

Mmm..vododer

Sounds damn good, the arps in the start are really cool with the square melody. The arps easily carry through the whole songs.
Excellent strings, the bass is bugging me a bit because its a bit bold and taking dominance.
Vocals, hey! Inventive...in time and coherent lyrics, nice doubling up the second time around! They do seem to clip every now and then though.
Nice new square melody, gotta love the arpeggio.
Cool New Wave track!

JesusSaves responds:

Thanks for the review. I'll be sure to return the favor.

Great synths

This is a nice sounding track. You've got a lot of variety in the synths. The intro has that great bass, but to be honest, the drums that follow don't really appeal to me. I know your background is in rock, but I think a straight 4*4 electronic beat would make the track sound better, with a snare on the 2 and the 4, instead of the pattern you've got now.
There's some good harmonizations and everything works together well (possibly not the choir sample, a bit cheesy :P), just the beat lets it down a little bit I think.
Keep going, its good to see you try some more techno.

zerofalse responds:

yeah.. i know what you mean, the techno genre is a relatively new thing in my life, lol. you said i shouldnt use the sample choir, but i dont know how to like use VST's and soundfonts to download in fl studio's x_x thanx alot for the advice though man i appreciate it. keep rockin your music \m/
