cool

Man, you're a bit of a genius with the good ol' speech synth, great cymbals and hats in this one, the slide down acid sound worked wonderfully I thought. And very nice triplet pattern after the wicked acid techno kind of part. Great pads as well, really fill out the track well. Looks like your score has been hit by some jerk, damn this place!
Keep up the great work.

cornandbeans responds:

lol, yea. I've stopped caring about score for now, even though the publicity is great when you're up in the charts. I was trying to get a unique dnb sound there, I'm glad you liked the triplet pattern. :) I've been expirementing with distortion layered with a low pass... it works really well. That's what you heard on the last pad, it's a gritty/ambient kinda sound. Thanks for the review, man! Don't forget to check out Adrenaline Pumper, I bet you'll like it. :P

tasty

Nice man, I like this one. It's simple but its got what it takes to rock. Good sense of expectation with that long sustained note down low, kind of twinkly as well perhaps? Love that. Percussion really gets a good boost when you introduce the side-sticky thingamajig, reminds me of all kinds of classic trance tracks.
Well, nice, easy to remember melody, would have loved a higher pad to really fill out the mix.
Good job as always, man, nice piano in there too and very good cymbal crashes and low hits, really make it sound polished.
Keep it up man!

cool

Hey, nice loop man. Has the potential to be repeated many times without becoming boring. Its simple, but it works! Kind of a sad feeling, like some gangster has just had his best friend murdered and is walking the lonely streets thinking about it.
Anyway, keep making 'em!

simple but effective

Nice loop. Not much happening, but it does the business of creating a catchy groove. I like the tone of the bass a lot, same for the snare. Maybe it'll get used in a flash!

Dog responds:

Yeah, it's a bit plain huh. I had a little synth number going aswell, but I thought I'd keep it simple. Thanks for the review.

good stuff

This track is pretty decent. I'm digging the industrial flavoured guitar and the beats are cool. Some of the transitions are a bit rough, I don't know, like its a bit out of time.
Anyway, nice job, hope to hear some more from you soon.

system-overload responds:

thank i kinda tried to use tha panning on the transition sound

nice!

Wow, man, this one has all the foundations of an awesome track. Fantastic melody and beat, I'm digging it..pro transitions and everything. It seems to be distorting a bit though, watch those levels!
Maybe you want to make it kind of hardcore or something? Cause that kick you bring in at the end sounds like its clipping.
Anyway, the first section makes up for it. You're on the right path!

P.S btw is 'by the way' :)

Prometheos-Dude responds:

Thanks man, I like your stuff... um I took along break and now I have gotten better. and I think it would be cool if you were to review my other stuff...

rockin

Nice one man, you've got some delicious hardcore elements in there. I'm loving the 303, always works well in these kinds of tracks. Build-up is exceptional with the cool crashes and atmospheric hits. Bringing in that second melody, and third! synth to back up the 303 rhythm was really effective. Interesting melodic switch at the end, hehe...nice vocal, shows you have a sense of humour!

Rave4Yourself responds:

lol, Thanks man. I appreciate it, :D

Wow, this track got lots more attention than I'd have expected it to get. **dances** lol.

Thanks for the review once again. I sort of made this as a potential "goodbye" track, 'cuz FLing during school will most likely very much kill my grades, and I really don't want that. :O

anyways, tahnks man. Lol, i like the voxor too, :P

Super!

Man, awesome track, you got the mix just right. I love it when it kicks into high gear with that beautiful thick pad/superstring synth playing. Really superb. Nice, nice..I love it lots!
Hmm..you reckon this is happy hardcore? Sounds like epic trance to me...Happy hardcore is intentionally cheesy and childish isn't it? Well, I don't claim to be an expert on genres..

Great track mate ;)

Rave4Yourself responds:

di.fm

its a website. its a radio. go to it.

and listen to the happy hardcore on there. its in no way cheesy, although sometimes the mixes are a BIT cheesy. But afterwards its AMAZING, the melodies are eargasmic.

Anywho, thats what i tried to make.

listen to di.fm.

acid = tasty

You've got a couple of newies, I need to keep closer tabs. I really love it when you make the beat more complex, and bring in the pad to go with the piano riff. Yes!! That acid part is the stuff of dreams, no! you ended it too quick. I can imagine a massive Hoover down low tearing the place apart. gotta love that distorted acid sound, it felt like when you took the foot off the gas with the drumloop for a bit at the end, it was preparing us for some massive drop. This one is wicked, you have to finish it!

snoballandthmonyshot responds:

haha, that made me laugh. acid synths are so much fun! splagawaga is a bit more pro with em, i just chucked in random filter tweaks. yeh, i really need to finish this.
