Iron helps us play
A fairly good knockoff of budget producers like Nick Skitz and the like.
Good work on getting it gold, believe me, I played no part in getting it there.

"I played no part in getting it there." are you trying to say something? lol
And why a 6 overall?
Thank you for the review anyhow.

Generic, uninspired
The chord progression you used has been done to death, the arps are cheesey as hell and then the piano begins.
You don't have to lock everything to eighth notes you know, a chord, or flourish, or maybe, hope against hope, a pause for silence every now and then would be nice. I know the piano lines are more varied either side of the main sequence, but it's just too continuous and in your face in the main part.
This will appeal to the Newgrounds crowd, but this to me, is just too derivative and cliched.
You've got a lot of fans it seems, but I'm not one of them.
You stick with your formula, I'll stick with mine. Mine seems to work better.
Expands well!
At first, with the solo flute, I thought it sounded like the background music of a kids show....But then the strings came through wonderfully! The piano section at the end was also top notch.
I enjoyed this one, perhaps a few of the solo flute glissandos were a tad irritating but maybe thats just because I used to be in the band at high-school.
Keep it up ;)
What I imagines while creating this, was a peaceful track which was suppose to lighten up your feelings. I can understand the Kid's show part.. and the solo flute. I'll learn from these problems.. and fix them in the near future.

Very cool
This is a great song. That jazz sample really fits well. Just one thing, the drum loop seems a bit clunky. I think something more minimal and abstract would be the go.
Sounds fantastic though, keep it up.
I think you are right.
thank you!
Yep, this hits the spot!
Wow, some excellent effects in this one, I'm loving what you're doing to those vocals.
It was very atmospheric and sophisticated and I imagine it took ages to program all those effects and edits!
I would have liked the beats to be a bit grittier and dirtier and I can hear distorted sounds in there which are cool, but the snare and kick could use some generous overdrive at times. Very nice fills and transitions though. I'm missing the mighty stabs which might tear up the joint on the first beat of new sections though. Again, thats just me, it's totally your call!
If you put in a wicked piano loop and some badass stabs in there it would sound like the triphop songs Linkin Park put in as the second last track in their albums!
P.S I hope to dear God you don't hate Linkin Park, I mean it as a compliment, anyway!
Hi!
Yeah, the beat could probably have been a little more prominent, and like you say, stabs and transitions aren´t in there that much really... I figured the skratching would take care of that, but man, skratch gotta cooperate with the music :/
As for Linkin Park, I think they´ve done many good songs, but then again im not a lyric-listening person, more the music itself to be honest... And the instrumental tracks by Mr.Hahn are awsome :D
Thanx alot for a really good and critical review, it´s highly appreciated!!!
Keep your stuff coming (been listening alot to "Sinking Point Unit", i love that song!).

Man, how awesome is this!
That totally rocks! The guitar solo is amazing, great tone and the track is clear an punchy.
Great effort!
Hey thanks man!
Great!
Yet again, another polished production. The strings were fantastic and the piano was superb, especially at the end where you drop the beat. The harmony with the violins works wonderfully
As a side note, it's different, but that last part was slightly reminiscent of Linkin Parks "In the End", at the end of that track.
The mid-rangy percussion needs to go in my opinion, the conga/snare type sound detracts from the beautiful classical flow you have going.
And I'm missing the grand timpani rolls you put in some of your other songs. Nice crashes, but the volume seemed to drop off a bit too fast.
Great track though, not many can get strings to conjure up such atmosphere and power.
you know, I ask myself, what the hell I was thinking when I put those damn conga snare things.
To tell you the truth, that is one snare sound, spliced, and pitched up and down and flayed with effects. I guess I was on my "lets see what happens if..." sprees ^^. The modified version will be up, and this will be wiped. Thank you for confirming my suspicions.
And for you, i'll put the timpini's in there ;).
To answer your side note, I was not aware at all of that, but to be honest I love Linken Park, and the melodies they present (A bit whiny sometimes in my opinion, but oh the melodies!), but you are right, I may have been affected subconciously! (the bastards)
Thanks for the review man ^^.
Awesome
This is a great song. Sounds a bit like Freestylers. I love the stabs and the kick is awesome.
The square bass that comes in halfway through the section didn't do anything for me. How about a big bad sub ripping it up down there?
Also, the song seemed a little bit light on the high frequencies, maybe some fx would fill it up a bit.
Other than that, this was really cool. Keep it up!
Thx for the feedback man, it is appreciated.
Ooooh
Rock on dude! You can really play that thing.
The recording is a bit grainy, or maybe it's my speakers.
It may be, my amp's shot all to hell. Ever get some money put back I'd like to get a Marshall JCM900, or maybe one of the Mesa Boogie amps. But thanks for the review, glad you liked it.
