Epic

The first thing that strikes me is the arrangement is really professional and balanced. The intro is cool with those stuttering electronic fx/percussion, and the transitions are really top of the line.
I love the hats when you bring in the main part, and that filtering over that bar is classy, I wish I had a timescale on the newgrounds player so I could tell you where!!
Oh wait, HERE is the main part! Epic sawtooth! Love a bit of detuned action! Man, thats phat, and I'm listening with headphones as well.
Oh, the song ended too quickly!
Damn, I wanted more, it felt like it could have stepped it up still another gear, but what was here was absolutely ace!
Hardstyle rocks, hope to hear many more from you soon. I'll join you soon, I'm just a bit pre-occupied right now :P

P.S this should get snapped up for a game I reckon.

The-XI responds:

Hey its been a while since I heard from you! If you got any new tracks up man, consider them reviewed =)

Island of music?

Hey, this is cool! It's relaxing, it's techno, hey, what more could a guy ask for?

You've got some really good breaks here, and the arp and that synth playing the long square-wave notes co-operate really nicely.
I like the fills and crashes very much! Only one grumble, considering you're a drummer, the drums here could have been a little bit punchier.
Still, it's a very nice song. Maybe something Daft Punk would have made once upon a time. :)

itsameyayo responds:

Funny, in real life, I play my drums out, but for some reason, no matter how I try, it just doesn't work when I try to get loud drums. Errg...

-Daft Punk? Who that? I'll soon find out : )

Killer groove!

Hey, this rocks! The way all the synths combine to form such a powerful song is great. Everything works together really nicely and the song structure overall is very effective.
I've got the demo of z3ta, its pretty badass, I'm too cheap to buy the whole thing!
I really like the grungy bass in this one, keep it up man!

Anth0n responds:

Someone sent me the full z3ta over AIM for free, so it all worked out. Glad you liked the song!

Another new angle!

Woah, you play a pretty gnarly axe MaestroSorrow! I really enjoy this one. Very cinematic and energetic. I really love the deep percussion stabs and the brass that comes in is wonderful, my only wish is that it continued for longer.
Also, where are your trademark strings? Well, I guess the orchestra needs to sleep every now and then...
Very great work, should be an excellent game.

MaestroSorrow responds:

I can't get the damn strings and the guitars singing at the same time... my computer... she sucks T-T.

When the full version is out, I will let you know, thank you for the review dj_padman1

Nicely distorted

This has potential. You've got all the essential elements. Bass, massive crunchy guitar, and drums. Well, you have a snare, and thats a start!

It is a cool snare and gives the track a lot of energy, but you really want the kick to be at a volume that really helps power the track. And hi-hats, they help heaps as well, don't forget them.

Nice powerful guitar, and the pads sounds really good. Just even everything out a bit more. There's some clipping as well, so watch those levels dude!

bass in the place

Woah, bitching tune! Awesome distorted kick and filtering at the transitions. This would shake the floor.

Me rikee....

I agree

I agree with the last guy. tiesto would probably hang up his decks and become a mime if he listened to this tune! He would realise that his music can't possibly stack up to this inspired work!! You go lil' ninja boi!!

Shout out to the home crew!!

Very cool

Yo dude, it's been a while.

You've been a bit hard on yourself in regard to this track! The introduction is beautifully atmospheric and left-field. The loungey drumloop and acoustic bass are awesome. Though the drum loop I think wants to be a bit louder against the low pads.

I hunger for more grit on the square lead though, seems a bit clean though the melody is very infectious and complimented by the strings well. Yes, definately excellent strings in this track.

In summary, this rocks! I love the ambient elements. Only complaints, the lead needs more attitude and the drumloop wants to be more energetic in my opinion. Keep it up!

I'm still hanging around to check out the music of my home-boys, dont worry!

It's true that I've scaled back my Newgrounds efforts though. Bandspace.com and garageband.com seem to offer more opportunities, I recommend you check it out, probably more up your alley. Newgrounds is a wasteland pretty much :(

Very cool

Man, this is awesome!

I can easily imagine it being on an album by Pendulum!?!

tF-ownedyou responds:

Lol.. finally someone noticed. I WANT THIS ACCOUNT REMOVEDDDDDDDDDDDD

So crazy right now..

This song has all the critical Newground elements! Cheesy piano arpeggio's, phat euro 90's dance lead, and you've managed to put in some Crazy frog samples and Bomfunk MC's style rap as well!

Well, I'd be surprised if it didn't go very well here. I'm not really into stuff like this but i can appreciate what you've done here.
