classic

Nice progressive feel, the track evolves very nicely. Quite 90's with the chord progression and everything, brings to mind some of ATB's work, especially with the bassline.
Nice one!

Cheers mate, glad you like.

unique

Cool inventive track. It evolves nicely, on the one hand, the reversed claps sound a little bit cheap, but they grow on you. Towards the end, with the rhythm in full swing I get a very Daft Punk flavour from the track. The slow attack bass is a great element at the start. The organ gave the song a twist of a more ambient trippy nature. The strings give the song a lot of depth in combination with the piano. It's sounding cool, but the snare seems a little bit common for something a bit off the wall like this. But it works well enough, and here's the Daft Punk section :)
Nice one!

Yay thanks dude!

Glad you liked it and thanks for the review!

back to the baroque we go

Hey, that takes me back! Nice harpsichord stylin'. Can't beat the classics sometimes, and congratz on getting the track on such a commonly viewed flash. Must feel good to get that kind of exposure :)
Keep pushing.

Wow man, I love the glitching of the drums. The opening ambience and sound fx freaked me out, awesome stuff. That techno lead melted out of it nicely into the hard techno beat. Oooh, you've still got the d 'n' b one going as well! How'd you get the drums to sound so cool? My d 'n' b loops sound a bit stale!
Some interesting switches in the track. I love the final fx and drums as well. Very enjoyable dude, very enjoyable.
And don't stop rockin man, whats this talk about concentrating on art? Dont give up your hardcore techno instincts!

MuSic-Creater responds:

Front page hey? :) Well done old bean!
Pretty frantic, a lot of the scratch kinds of moves with the vocal sound like Norman Cook on steroids, cool bassline. Pretty rockin' guitar riff, nice lo-fi edge and co-operates well with the frantic bassline.
Hey, you've also got some square arp sequences in there, me likes :)
Very distinctive and forward lunging track, although one thing I would have loved with it is some more messing around with the vocal sample.

WinTang responds:

Yep, front page, two months ago to date :) Thanks for the review!

Hah yea it's very Fat Boy Slim in the retriggeringness. The riff is courtesy of Sick of it all, sadly. But the lo-fi edge is mine (weakness is strength and all that) and the square arp (it's just a sinus btw) is what I consider the best feat in this track.
I could have done much more with the vocal sample, indeed. Maybe in the future, although I feel I'm a bit past this phase already.

Nicely done

Pleasant, graceful flow to this one. The dynamics are really well done and I really like the chord progression especially the last phrases string part. A quality orchestral effort! Is that a cello pizzicato down low?
Keep it up!

WinTang responds:

Almost correct! It's a bunch of contrabasses :) and the legato strings are violas.
Thanks for the review!

nice, nice

Excellent work dude, you just made an excellent club track. I really love the energetic bubbly bass and the builds. It hits the spot for sure! Keep it up!

AphelionX responds:

omg padman i thought you were destroyed havent heard from you in a long time.. lol well thanx for the reviews

sounds great

Oooh, thats nice. Really nice blippery flippery. My favourite part is when the delayed synth plays slightly behind the beat. Great bass after that. Complemented nicely with the higher bell like tone. Classic chord progression takes me back to a time when life was fun.
Crazy sax man! I want you playing two notes at once once of these days. That always impresses me.
Nice Mario samples in there.
Cool change in mood before the vocals. You've really made a complete, evolving track here. Vocals fit really well. That synced vowel thingy is making my heart smile.
Nice, disconnected feel with that lo-fi incessant buzz melody. And to top it off, you nailed the loop of the track. How do you that? Mine NEVER works.
Keep up the great, inventive stuff!

thanks australia...

I'm falling away

Nice one! You've gotten everything working together very nicely to make a laid back soundtrack to a voyage of dreams. The filtered soft melodies are very well made and drift together pleasantly. There were times when I thought the strings were a little bit on the harsh side but it always got smoothed out when you added another key melody. Your cousin is lucky to have someone devoting so much time to help him go to sleep :)
In fact one of the melodies reminds me of some music from one of the He-man and Skeletor music, when they play the 80's keyboard to get the portal to appear (the machine works with music). But hey, maybe I'm just trippin'! Call me Stacy Orrico.
Keep it uP!

itsameyayo responds:

Actually, my baby cousin I made this for is a girl, but same thing : D

-Lol, call you Stacy Orrico? ...um...yeah : D

-He-man and Skeletor...where's that from again? It's been a while since I've ever seen a cartoon...is that Thundercats?

-Strings on harsh side? Hmm, guess I never noticed that, but you did. Alright, maybe another kinda suspending riff somewhere, either that, or it's good.

-Thanks for all the compliments and the critism : D

cool

Well, I was definitely blown into outerspace by that cool arpegiatory lead sequence! Nice filtering of the bass. Not too sure why you dropped the bass when you brought in the drums, there's some good evolution to that lead sequence. Its cool, but not quite a track! A big ol' techno kick would give this one real dancefloor I reckon. As it stands, you've got a great foundation, the drums just need a bit of a steroid injection.
keep going!!

Distortzion responds:

yeah you're quite right, but it's more a loop than a song.
